In Uvita, traveling south on the coastal highway, cross a bridge and turn right. This right turn is sandwiched in between The Dome Plaza and the bridge you just crossed. Go down about 100 meters. You'll see it on the left.
La Fogata makes one of the best pizzas that this writer has ever enjoyed. Pizza is a funny thing that seems to put otherwise agreeable companions into disarray. It is a very personal matter. La Fogata’s pizzas are thin crust and baked to order.
The wood fired rotisserie chicken oven turns out some delectable roast chicken that can be accompanied by a tasty salad.
The rest of the menu can be characterized as Italian. Their barbecued ribs are excellent and are otherwise a bit difficult to find in this neck of the jungle. Their lasagna is quite good as well.
