Dan Lavis - Golf Course Developer

Mr. Lavis has been in the golf course industry for over 25 years. He has designed and built and/or expanded golf courses throughout Canada. Some of the courses he has built/improved include:

  • Shelburne Golf Club, Shelburne, Ontario
  • Cardinal Golf Club
  • Newmarket, Ontario (72 hole course)
  • Langbridge Golf Club
  • Mount Pleasant, Ontario
  • Buck’s Crossing Hanover, Ontario
  • Steve Plunkett, London, Ontario (private design).

    Currently, Dan is the course superintendent and construction manager at the Tarandowah Golfers Club. This is a British links golf course designed by renowned architect Martin Hawtree and completed construction in June 2007.

    Dan is married with 2 children and resides in Ingersoll, Ontario Canada. Dan obtained his diploma graduating with high honours from the Seneca Golf Course Technician Program. And has taken additional education from the University of Guelph.

Rob Cuncic

Mr. Cuncic currently operates a golf construction, renovation and design business and has 18 years experience working in golf maintenance and construction. While working with the Clublink Corporation he was involved in some of the most aggressive projects in Canada, including:

  • Rattlesnake Point in Milton Ontario
  • Rockey Crest Golf Club in Mactier Ontario
  • Grandview Resort Course designed by Mark O’Meara.

Rob has worked with Dan Lavis for past three seasons. One season on the Langbridge Golf Club in Scotland Ontario which Dan designed and the past two seasons at the Tarandowah Golfers Club designed by world renowned architect Dr. Martin Hawtree. Rob is an avid golfer and has participated in several long drive championship events throughout North America.
