We are specialists in the designing and promotion of web sites. (not trying to brag, just illustrating a point.)

Our objective with Dominical.biz is to promote Dominical on the internet. We will go after keywords and key phrases such as "Costa Rica" "Costa Rica Tourism" "Costa Rica Vacations" "Costa Rica Real Estate", and, obviously, for all keywords related to Dominical.

All merchants and concerns in the Dominical area will have a page, free or otherwise on Dominical.biz.

We offer four types of listings.

1. Free
2. Premium Page
3. Premium Link
4. Custom Mini site

1) The automatic listing, which is free, will include the title of your bizness(es), a brief description, and contact information such as e-mail, and telephone. You may put a link to your site, provided you have put a link to Dominical.biz on your site, and you may upload your logo or photo of your choice to adorn your page. You will be sent an e-mail with your information along with a link to your page. This will allow you (if you don't have a site already) to have your own free website on the internet. Thats all there is to it! You can even include the URL on your bizness cards and letterhead etc... The URL will read something like:
www.dominical.biz/dominical-merchants/hotelbueno. If you are a merchant in the Dominical area and don't see your business allready listed here, please click here and submit your info.

2) The premium listing: one time $100.00 setup and then $10.00 a month. includes everything from the free option plus allows for uploading up to 6 images. Additionally, you will be able to amplify the description of your bizness. Currently you may include up to 3 phone numbers, 2 e-mail addresses, references and of course, your logo. This page also may be used on your business cards and other "real world" publications. In the case of the Premium Page listings, your business' web site address would read like this: www.dominical.biz/hotelbueno.
     ~ an additional option that can be added to your page at Dominical.Biz is a contact form. This form can be used to gather contact information from your visitor as well as the dates they will be coming etc... this will all be delivered to your e-mail address. This option adds $35.00 to the tab, one time fee.

3) Premium Link: $10.00 a month, billed every 3 months, or $100.00 per year paid all at once. A prominently emboldened link directly from the primary page of your industry to your page. An example would be a link from the lodgings page directly to your hotel or Bed & Breakfast's web site.

4) The Mini Site: one time construction fee starting at $350.00 then $10.00 a month. A mini site is just that, a little web site. You have a main page that links to various other pages. An example would be a hotel that wanted to have a different page for it's various types of rooms, a page for it's restaurant, and perhaps a page for activities. There will usually be a contact form involved as well. There can be photos, video, e-mail, all the amenities of a full blown web site at a fraction of the cost. A general cost guideline is to think in terms of $350.00 to set up a basic site. The monthly cost is $10.00 and includes one update a month. If you would like to do additional work to the site, I will provide you with an estimate for the service.

All options, with the exception of the Free Listing, will receive the referrals that we get from our "One Stop Shop" on the Lodgings Page. We send these out to all Premium Page, Premium Link, and Mini Site merchants as we receive them.

E-mail: Owners of the Premium or Mini-Site options may also have their own e-mail address at dominical.biz, such as Rafa@dominical.biz. This e-mail can be readily configured for use with e-mail programs such as Outlook Express, and a webmail feature similar to Hotmail, or MSN etc for when you are on the road or from and internet cafe.

As mentioned, all merchants will be listed with the free option. We want your page here to be lucrative for you. Just keep in mind that it is not always quantifiable how much benefit results from such a listing. We are hoping for the obvious, more sales from people saying, "I'm here buying now because of your page at Dominical.Biz", and undoubtedly there will be some of that. But it will be more evident in comments overheard, and some asides, that will indicate to you the merchant, what your Premium Listing on Dominical.Biz is worth to you.

About Logos: We encourage all businesses to have a logo. If you don't have one, we will be happy to help with one. We charge $50.00 for a simple logo that is made in connection with any one of our options. If you provide us with a logo that needs extensive work to make it compatible with the layout of your page here, there will be an additional fee for that as well.

About getting your own domain name: One strategy that is working nicely for some of the local businesses is to purchase your own domain and have it re-direct to your Premium Page or Mini-Site on Dominical.biz. To see how this works, please click on this www.pacificedge.info or you can type that domain into the browser and hit enter. You will see Pacific Edge's page on Dominical.biz come up. This feature costs $25.00 to set up and $15.00 anually. The super nifty thing about this option is that it is an inexpensive way to step into having a web presence. After awhile, you might determine that it is worthwhile to have a full blown web site. In that case you can disconnect your domain from your page at Dominical.biz, and have your domain be your main site. In this way you will start your new site with the advantage of already having traffic coming to it. Your page on Dominical.biz can continue and it will refer visitor's over to your main site.

The site is divided into categories, the principles of which make up the menu. Each category will present information from those that know, those that live here, for the benefit of our visitors. Your business' page will be linked to from as many pages in the site as is appropriate. An example is, a surf camp will have a link from the surf page, as well as the tourism page.

We are especially interested in contributed content. Please visit the Content Contribution Form. There you will see all of the categories that we are needing content for. We would appreciate input from you, the ones that live in and work around Dominical. Topics such as: Ecology, The Beaches, Insects, Life Style, Real Estate, Fashion and more, are going to be provided by you, the Dominical locals. Those whose contributions are used will have an additional mention on the page where the input is found.
